Biography

Work Experience:

  • He worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa. He researched the usage of mid-infrared lasers in cancer ablation therapies while also doing system design and automation.
  • Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa for an upper-level undergraduate electronic circuits course.

Research Interests:

Using deep learning technology on MRI and CT images to develop novel diagnostic techniques to further the field of medicine.


Hobbies:

  • Traveling – I’m always looking to expand my cultural horizons by looking for new and exciting places to explore and experience different cuisines.
  • Going to the theater, local festivals, and exploring museums.
  • Outdoor activities such as: hiking, sailing, kayaking.
  • Reading and learning new things.
